David Johnston

David Johnston was saved in November 1976 in the Madisonville Baptist Temple in Madisonville, Kentucky. His wife was saved there also in June of 1982. On March 17, 1983 God called Him into the ministry in the prayer room of the First Baptist Church of Sturgis, Kentucky using Matthew 9:38. He attended Tabernacle Baptist Bible College from 1983 until 1987. In March of 1987, he became Pastor of the Temple Baptist Church of Laurens, South Carolina. David's life verse is Galatians 6:14: "But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world."
